A School Council is comprised of a group of parents, teachers, staff and community members who work together to provide input on various school matters and who support the vision and mission of the school. The School Council does not replace the Winterburn Parent Liaison Council but endeavours to complement their activities and direction. Both groups meet around the same table every month.
Winterburn Parent Liaison Council
One of the groups working in collaboration with our school is our Winterburn Parent Liaison Council. This group of volunteers acts as a link between parents and staff. They meet on a monthly basis and provide support to students in the classroom in a variety of ways. Thanks to their fundraising efforts, we have current technologies that benefit the learning of all students. Special events are also organized by these volunteers for all of our families to enjoy.
